Der Kanadier Justin ist der Neue im Ripzone International Team. Wie es dazu kam und was Justin sonst so den ganzen Tag treibt könnt ihr hier nachlesen:
This winter has been all time for me, it started with record snowfall and riding whistler for December and January. I traveled around BC on a couple urban trips looking for drops and rails, and it worked out pretty well.
At the end of February I jumped on this Snowboard Canada trip to Greece with Eric Greene and Dominique Vallee. Right before the trip I joined the Ripzone team and I couldn’t be more stoked on them. Before we got to Greece it had snowed for a week at one resort we went to and made for some amazing pow laps and also made it much easier to get great shots for the story.
Getting home from Greece was unreal because it had snowed pretty much all day every day 3 days previous to our arrival so we all went from pow runs to the beachfront back to powder and snowmobiles! the next 3 weeks were spent snowmobiling every day until I got burnt out and had to take a day or two off. I went to a pretty cool snowmobile zone one day that was hit by a forest fire the previous summer, that was really cool setting up features in the dense leafless forest.
lets see what else… Telus festival + Grenade Games happened and was a really unique experience because it seemed to combine every historical aspect of snowboarding and made it into a 4 day event that was all about fun. And so now its spring, all I have left to do is ride slushy park and wait until camp starts so i can rip until my nose hits the grindstone.
